With over 50 lakes in the area, including Sebago which is Maine’s 2nd largest lake and over 300 feet deep in its deepest spots, the region abounds with fresh water activities including swimming, fishing and boating. Bring your own boat, rent from one of several vendors, or take a riverboat cruise!
Fishing: Lake trout (Togue), landlocked salmon, bass, brown trout and brookies can be found in the area lakes, ponds & streams. Bring your rod or hire a fishing charter, some guides offer ocean and well as lake fishing. Need a license?
Swimming: Swim in some of the clearest lakes in the country. Enjoy the natural sandy beaches, ask the innkeepers about their favorite secluded cove. We’ve got beach towels for you!
Boating: enjoy kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, pontoon & power boating, tubing and paddle boarding. Bring your own or rent from any of several local vendors. Explore the Songo River and travel through the historic Songo Locks to Sebago Lake.

Sea Plane Adventures
There have been seaplane rides given on Long Lake in Naples, Maine since 1929. We at Naples Seaplane Adventures are proud to be continuing a long-treasured tradition. We began operating in 2014 with Matthew McFadden as our pilot. He is an experienced pilot with over 4,500 total hours of flying. For the past 15 years, he has instructed pilots in both land and sea planes, given scenic flights and worked as an aircraft mechanic.

Located in the foothills of the White Mountains and surround by national forest, the area abounds with hiking trails, most ending with rewarding vistas. Sebago State Park only 4 miles from the Inn provides hiking trails with scenic views for the novice or experienced hikers.

Magic Lantern Movie Theater: in Bridgton, a theater with history, Steven King’s ‘The Shining’ premiered here.
DeerTrees Theatre: Inn Harrison now listed on Maine’s State Register of Historic Landmarks and on the National Registry of Historic Places and self-funded by box office receipts, grants, and an annual capital campaign, the restoration of the theater continues. Today the theater is being run as non-profit theater presenting around forty productions during a season
Smitty’s Dinner and a Movie: in North Windham has six screens, good food, tables and lounge seating.
Antiquing: Many antique shops dot the area and make for a great way to spend a leisurely afternoon.
